While BUDDHA on WALL-STREET is primarily a book on investments it seeks to redefine happiness from the perspective of ancient wisdom drawing on the source of true happiness. It is materialism with contentment.
BUDDHA on WALL-STREET not only equips the reader with knowledge and wisdom to effectively maximize returns and manage one’s investments but also lays out a balanced approach to maximize one’s happiness.

About the Book
In The Poetry of Vihang A. Naik: New Literary Dimensions, edited by Goutam Karmakar, Naik reaches into the past and future. These are poems of friendship, of love’s stranglehold, of the streets and buildings where history is played out. Elegiac and bittersweet, the poetry features Naik at his best. This collection is valuable from the beginning, not only for its originality, but with the depth and fullness with which the poems communicate internal and external human states. They tell of the world of attitudes arising from inner, strong connections, highlighting emotions that usually carry dilemmas, so that we see such ethics lead to great truths and create wellbeing —- Form by “Preface” by Patricia Prime.
The book is an overview of poet Vihang Naik’s work throughout these years. All the essays are based on his poems and the topics that has been touched by the author has been thrown light upon. A great descriptive read and made me learn more about poetry and poems in general. An informational read.
overall – 4/5.
There sitting on that porch, that light-eyed man, a pitta like me, was my ex-husband and that woman whose inner element I was unaware of, unless bitch is accepted as an undiscovered fourth dosha, was his young wife.
In the serene sanctuary of Kerala’s Shanthamaaya spa where food is rationed, sex forbidden and emotions centered, Anshu meets someone familiar and deeply unsettling – her ex-husband. Bittersweet, funny and wise, Pyjamas Are Forgiving confirms Twinkle Khanna as one of our great storytellers.
Having read all the other books by the author I really had high hopes with this one and read the whole book with much anticipation. The cover is incredible and really adds on to the whole look with the white cover. The title of the book is marvelous and relatable to everyone as we all really like being ourselves into the pajamas and pajamas never judge.
As far as the content is concerned the plot line chosen was overall fine but somewhere in the execution it didn’t touch hearts like it always does. The humor always was on point and you will definitely get to learn many new words in the book. The first few pages of the book really holds you through after a while you lose interest in the story. The story revolves around Anshu’s emotions and the ashram she is in Kerala’s Shanthamaaya spa . Pace of the book is slow. Not a page turner after a while.
Characters failed to put a mark over the story. The author tried to touch upon the #metoo movement. The dialogues seemed bland. The book is a one time read. Extensive detailing could have been cut off but overall an okay read.
Vijay is like any of us. He belongs to a middle-class family with loving parents and a girlfriend by his side,he wants get a job and after few years of job experience dreams to establish his own business like millions of other, but fate has some different plans. Corrupt system forces him to enter into the dirty game of politics. He gains power to avenge his antagonists, The only thing that makes him different is his ideologies. He believes in everything Gandhi once believed in. He believes in setting things straight by talking rather than unnecessary fights. Being a Gandhian, his strategy is something unusual . . . his revenge isn’t ordinary . . .
Starting off with the cover of the book it is really very okay and didn’t go as much with the book content. Could have been made much more better. The title is okay made sense in the end. So this is a romantic story which ends up with so much patriotism and servicing others. How helping someone is really important and taking a stand for something could change your life. The first half of the book goes about with the story of Vijay and Priya and there love life where as the other half deals with the twist that changes their life for good. The authors have done good work with the flow of the story. I felt it could have been shortened. The book quality could have been better I feel the pages starts to tear off sooner. The pace of the book is slow. Themes covered is romance and being selfless. You will enjoy reading the book as it has a genuine story which could have happened to anyone. What I really liked how it is a different story and is not the same old usual romance the different pick of the plot is what unique. Also the book did not feel as it was co-authored and felt like one author wrote it so kudos to the authors for that. Simple and easy to understand story. The book also teaches you how leadership is and all the sarcrifices one has to make.
things that you will like : story plot.
things that you will not like : grammatical errors, cover and no proper execution of the idea of the book.
a one time read.

It is through these poems; the work of art and imagination that we intend to empathize and extend our hands to one and all alike. Through the seven transgressions, we extend our regards and affection.
Finished reading the book in one go. Really beautifully weaved by 7 authors on mental health and related topics. The cover is amazing showing the beauty or one’s mind and how it keeps growing wallflowers inside. Also shows how one may be quiet on the inside but so much might be blooming inside ones mind and body. Altogether all the poets did a great job to make you think. Consume and write more poetry. The book deals with anxiety, not feeling enough , depression and how you try to break through changes and live.
Many relatable poems and stanzas which will grow on to you. The title also falls along the lines of the books content. Had a great read. Will definitely stir emotions within and remind you of times that you might have had in your life.
Poignant poetry book.
