We are a species fueled by obsessions. Every human achievement, and every infamy, is the result of an obsession that tormented, possessed and consumed. This is a selection of poetry about solitude and other obsessions that have distracted, driven, destroyed and / or defined us. TITLE – once you finish reading the book the title is really apt.

This book has been compiled by 5 poets and an artist. Each section touches different parts of memories and subjects. Themes keep varying from life to nature, human relations. Every poets work starts with a small quote by personalities followed by an intricate artwork. The poems vary in length. All of the poems have been written beautifully and one can definitely relate to them.

Uma-

FAVOURITE POEM – Captured moments.

Uma captures every poem with words simple and transparency of it’s beauty is seen. the poems are based on her army life. Mostly long poems.

Binod-

FAVOURITE POEM- tue, but strange, revival, still dreaming.

writes about life, inner dreams. consisting of description with less words. felt unique. length varies from small to long.

TRUPTI.

FAVOURITE POEM – truly,yours, lone warrior.

she writes about feminism and love.

DR. Shruti –

FAVOURITE POEM-  all of them.

she writes about today’s generation. most of us could relate to these. About pictures todays world.

SAURIN-  all the poems written by him are written eloquently. about regrets and love.

SHRIPAD- his artwork elated each section and gave a deeper meaning to all of the poems. The artwork definitely makes you think about whats beneath. The artwork is poetry itself. It speaks volume.

OVERALL – the collection is brilliant in the times of mediocre poetry. one should deifnitely go for this book you will not be disappointed.
