Polygon of Asymmetry by Vyankatesh Katkar

Polygon of Asymmetry by [Katkar, Vyankatesh ]

‘POLYGON OF ASYMETRY’ is really different because it is not dull and boring as most general social fictions are. It is racy like a thriller, full off interesting and gut churning events. Every page of this book is an absorbing experience. You will like to finish before you put it down. It is a remarkable story of a brave and wise orphan girl, who manages to extricate herself from most horrendous circumstances time and again. Then she wisely uses her wisdom and charm to secure her future to rise to great heights from the ashes of her past. And then destiny brings her face to face with a most sacrilegious dilemma that leads to tragic end. She rises again through her ashes again to live another story that is greater and grander in its essence and the message that, in spite of own suffering at the hands of society and destiny it is possible to dedicate one’s life to the selfless service of mankind. The real flavor of this drama can be absorbed only through personal reading of those pages.

This book is filled with twists and descriptive narration of every single event that takes place. The story revolves around uma and her life. How she has endured so much of pain and ill-treatment. The book comes off really strong. The suspense to what will happen ahead. Characterization is beautiful too. The story is full of so many issues and personal wreck one goes through. from being an orphan girl to getting true love. Uma has shown as how woman can be so strong , endure and break off all the shackles. The book has the potential to make you emotional in so many instances. The book is written in simple english. The cover is plain could have been made better. the title makes sense after you read the whole story. Of how nothing will make sense when it is messed up and make all sense with only time. Themes covered are societal problems. The book is full of suspense and drama.

The Final Truth of God Soul and Salvation Demystified

The book, ‘The Final Truth of God Soul and Salvation Demystified’ speaks about core spiritual philosophies and nothing else. All extraneous matters have been strictly excluded. It is written in question and answer format for the sake of clarity and ease to understand. The true value of this book lies in demystification of spirituality through crystal clear SSclarity of thought that is devoid of ambiguities and vain mysticism. The book puts forth many fresh philosophical views, which are contrary to that of established religious dogmas and philosophies on many vital aspects of spirituality. The book is a product of long years of study, meditation, contemplation and spiritual enquiry. It is a potential rabble-rouser, as it strikes very hard at heart of established pseudo spiritual beliefs and practices. Even a cursory look at content index will give good overview of the book. This book is must read for all enquiring minds. None of the present religion answers all the questions regarding spiritual matters that arise in the mind of intelligent and scientifically grounded mind. And there is no unanimity regarding various fundamental and vital questions regarding nature of God, soul and particularly about meaning of salvation and ways to achieve that.

Letters in the Rain -Anubhav Shrivastava

Quite early in his life, Aman had been labelled a ‘weirdo’. His side-parted, oil soaked hair and gawky physique made him the butt of jokes among his peers. There is nothing spectacular in his life—he studies all day, has never had an interaction with a girl that lasted more than five minutes, and scribbles his inner musings into his best friend, a personal diary.

Deep down, however, the guilt of being considered a social killjoy by the society starts to have a negative impact on him.

When forced out of his solitary shell into the action-infused warehouse that is ‘college’, Aman’s life takes a drastic U-Turn. Owing to a Chemistry project, he is forced to partner up with Kiara—a cheerful, carefree soul who tucks away her dark, brooding past upon arriving in Manipal.

What follows is a series of awkward encounters and quirky adventures; ones that throw them in the deep end and make them face their worst fears.

The book cover is in blue and is really attractive ,depicting a love story. The book is written in simple easy to understand english and is a short read. The book will take you on a trip from jr college days to your degree college days. What I really liked about the book is the story is simple and yet flowing. The poems and letters throughout the book makes it interesting. It is the story of aman and kiara. Aman is an introvert and kiara is magic. Of how their friendship is formed in manipal and how things fall apart. Less characters are there in the story which helps in keeping the clarity. Importance of friendship in ones life which help you become a better version of you. The story also tells you how maintaining a balance is necessary between work and life. A short yet amazing read.
