Parrot Under the Pine Tree by Mr Surendra Pratap Singh

BLURB – Parrot under the Pine Tree is the powerful expression of love. In the girl’s heart; it’s subtle, sublime and eternal. But in the boy’s heart; it’s earthy, insecure and restless. The anxiety brings the two young hearts close. In the clean and tranquil environs of Kausani, Vedanta inadvertently meets Saranga under bizarre circumstances and both fall in love with each other. But Alas! Their happiness doesn’t last long. On one fateful night of temptation, the storm that blows up not only consumes his heart and soul, but also shreds that of Saranga into pieces. On insistence of her grandma Saranga agrees to give a second chance to a repentant Vedanta. But misgivings remain in her heart. Will Kausani rework the magic again between the estranged couple?

REVIEW –

TITLE AND COVER  – The cover is of beautiful nature and greenery. the blurb tells you it is a romance genre and keeps up the suspense. The title is too beautiful.

THEMES – human nature and love.

It is a love story that brews in between saranga and vedanta in kausani. You will really like how vedanta tries to win over saranga’s love and their time together. the book is a long read of 250 pages but very descriptive. The way narration has been done is way beyond beautiful, each description takes you to a new imaginative experience. This novel is so much of poetry. Language is poetic and easy flowing. Ever fell in love, everything falls into place – the togetherness,, child and embrace. Suddenly something happens. Vedanta cheats upon saranga. she is hurt and they separate for a while. everybody suggest vedanta to go to kausani again where everything started but will it end on a good note as well?what happens next? read the book to know more.

overall 4/5
